— all this music is great, at creating an atmosphere and drawing the listener in, but Jane always does that real real good.
04-01 Tritonus – Between The Universes 201 – Suburban Day Suite – The Day Awakes (1976)
— notable for being a progrock ‘suite’ which has separations between the songs. Most progbands, especially in 1976, would have run these compositions right into each other and challenge any DJ who wanted to play just one of the tunes. Lucky, that the radio station here affords me time to get the whole thing out in one (intentionally segemented) piece.

— part of a gigantic “concept album” based on a sci-fi story, this project was collectively called The Psychedelic Avengers, but involved over 30 bands and artists, including the group Zone Six, who were nearly included in this show.
